Refresh your playlist with these 8 new albums coming out in June

May 2022 has seen some amazing comebacks and musical releases from some major artists. From Harry Styles’ third studio album, Harry’s house, and Jack Harlow’s second studio album Go home, you miss the kids at Chainsmokers So far, so good, many music albums kept us spellbound with their rhythms and melodies. To keep the mood going, the next albums to be released in June 2022 also include top musicians.

Twelve karat toothache by Post Malone

Post Malone talked about his fourth studio album Twelve karat toothache while interacting with Billboard in January 2022. He shared that the new songs reflect his feelings and said, “[they] talk more about what I’m feeling right now: the ups and downs, the helplessness, and the bipolar aspect of being an artist in the mainstream. According to the report, the album “completes in about 45 minutes.”

Twelve karat toothache follows Post Malone’s 2019 album The Hollywood Bleed and features his latest hit single, “One Right Now,” which he collaborated on with The Weeknd.

In April, the “Goodbyes” singer went live on Instagram to announce the album, with previews of the mixtape showing off Kid Laroi, Doja Cat and Roddy Ricch, among others. He also posted a blurry image of his face while announcing the release date.

Angel Olsen’s forthcoming album depicts an emotional journey, which speaks of mental complexities, grief as well as joy. The song lyrics were written at a time when she came out as queer in front of her parents and came to terms with her relationship with writer Adele Thibodeaux. This was followed by the unfortunate demise of her parents within two months.

The songs were recorded with co-producer Jonathan Wilson, and the title track and opener “All The Good Times” videos are directed by Kimberly Stuckwisch. This New Music Album Follows Olsen’s 2021 Extended Play (EP) aisles and his album 2020 Whole new mess.

Evidence by BTS

The Bangtang Boys are back with their highly anticipated “anthology album” titled Evidence. Its five-minute logo trailer, which was released on May 4, shows a timeline of the Korean boy band’s discography and features clips from their hit albums, including their debut album. 2 COOL 4 SKULL, as good as O!RUL8.2?, Skool Luv case, dynamite, Soul Map 7, Butter and permission to dance.

Shedding light on one of the highly anticipated albums due out in June, the label has announced that Evidence includes three CDs and three new tracks. Thanking ARMY for the support received, the group’s agency Big Hit Music said, “It’s all thanks to ARMY sending us your undying love and support. BTS’ anthology album that embodies the history of BTS will be released as they embark on a new chapter as an active artist for nine years to look back on their past endeavors.

Crazy through the water (Deluxe Edition) by Elton John

To mark its 50th anniversary, Elton John’s classic 1971 album, Crazy through the water gets a makeover. Released just two years after the release of “Rocket Man”, it was his fourth studio album. On April 21, 2022, the singing legend took to his social media to make the announcement.

The new deluxe edition album will be released in four different formats – a three-CD set with a Blu-ray Super Deluxe box set; a 4-LP (long play) set which also includes a 40-page book with the introduction written by John and lyricist Bernie Taupin, as well as photos and posters from the 1971 production; a limited-edition blue and white vinyl of one LP and a two-CD set.

The album includes hit songs like “Tiny Dancer”, “Levon” and 32 other tracks. Each Golden Jubilee reissue will have a 2016 remaster of the album.

ugly season by Perfume Genius

Michael Hadreas, aka Perfume Genius, created the songs for ugly season for an “immersive dance piece”, titled “The Sun Still Burns Here”. It was choreographed by Kate Wallich and was performed across the United States in 2019. Two of the songs, “Pop Song” and “Eye In The Wall” were also released as singles the same year.

Now, Hadreas is set to release all the songs as an album, which is produced by Perfume Genius and Grammy-winning producer Blake Mills. It was created in collaboration with Alan Wyffels and consists of 10 tracks, including the 2019 releases. Perfume Genius also has visual artist Jacolby Satterwhite on board to make a short film for ugly season.

2000 by Joey Bada$$

Gender: Hip Hop / Rap

Joey Bada$$ announced the album on social media on May 12, 2022. 2000 is the rapper’s first full-length album since All American Bada$$which was released in 2017. It also follows on from 1999his first mixtape, released in 2012.

Joey Bada$$’s announcement came after the launch of “The Rev3nge», the first single from the album, in January 2022. Speaking to XXLthe “For My People” artist said, “As far as producers, I have my boys there: Statik Selektah, Kirk Knight. I have a Cardo joint there. I have a Mike Will [Made-It] attached on it. I’m supposed to go in with DJ Premier this week because I told him I can’t finish this album if we don’t team up.

He will launch his United States 1999-2000 visit from July 1st.

muna by MUNA

Release date: June 24
Gender: India

MUNA struck the right chord with the public after its launch About you in 2017. Now his self-titled album, a sequel to save the worldwhich was discontinued in 2019, is about to roll out.

After a long hiatus, Chris Brown is back with an LP, titled Costs. This is her first album since the 2020 project Slime&B.

Costs has guest appearances from stars such as Wizkid, Bleu, Blxst, Anderson .Paak, Jack Harlow, Fivio Foreign, Tory Lanez, EST Gee, Ella Mai, HER and Lil Wayne. Brown had also debuted two tracks from the album – “Iffy” and “WE (Warm Embrace)” in January and April 2022, respectively.

Brown’s latest album, titled Indigowas dropped in 2019 and gave fans hit numbers like “Wobble Up” and “Heat”.
