Liverpool vs Real Madrid live: how to watch the Champions League final for free and online

The Liverpool vs Real Madrid live stream will show us the Champions League final on Saturday May 28 – and the really good news is that you can watch it for FREE In some countries.

Yes, the biggest game of the year (well, until the World Cup final) will be broadcast for free in the UK and Australia. And there are ways to watch it without spending a dime elsewhere, if you know how. Read on and we’ll explain.

This is a live stream of the Champions League final to really get excited about. Liverpool may have (just) missed out on the Premier League title, but they have arguably been the best team in Europe this season. They have already won the Carabao and FA Cups, won 10 out of 12 Champions League games to get to this stadium and have scored 147 goals in all competitions so far.

Real Madrid also looked quite special; they won the Spanish La Liga title (for the 35th time!) and the Spanish Super Cup and scored 118 goals themselves.

They had to fight hard to qualify for the Champions League final, with tough (and spectacular) victories against Paris Saint Germain, Chelsea and Man City in the round of 16.

Liverpool, on the other hand, enjoyed a relatively serene run which saw them defeat Inter Milan, Benfica and Villarreal – although the latter gave them a bit of a shock in the second leg in the semi-finals.

Both sides are brimming with talent. Liverpool have an impressive trio of Mo Salah, Sadio Mané and Luis Diaz or Diogo Jota, a quality midfielder led by Thiago and two of the best attacking full-backs in the world in Trent Alexander-Arnold and Andy Robertson.

Madrid, meanwhile, have an old and young pair of Karim Benzema and Vinicius Jr up front, Luka Modric and Toni Kroos pulling the strings in the middle and rock Thibaut Courtois in goal.

These teams have 19 Champions League trophies between them and have already met twice in the final. In 1981, Liverpool were the winners when the competition was known as the European Cup, but it was Real Madrid who triumphed in 2017.

Will Jürgen Klopp’s men avenge this defeat and win the trophy in Paris on Saturday? Find out by watching a Liverpool vs Real Madrid live stream.
