Cardiff City will be without Max Watters this weekend after the player left training on crutches this week.

Watters rolled his ankle in a challenge with Oli Denham and has a preventative protective boot on his left foot.

Leandro Bacuna (hamstring), Curtis Nelson (calf) and Alfie Doughty (ankle) are also absent.

Rubin Colwill, however, will be back after missing the last two games with a foot injury.

Sean Morrison and Isaac Vassell were both ruled out for the season.

For the visitors, Richard Keogh has a calf injury and will miss the game, while Marvin Ekpiteta is a doubt with a hamstring problem.

James Husband and Keshi Anderson are also out, while Chris Maxwell (quad), Luke Garbutt (knee), Matty Virtue (ACL) and Grant Ward (achilles) are also out.

Cardiff City boss Steve Morison: “It’s interesting, Blackpool. They play a 4-4-2, not many teams do that now.

“They have their way of playing. We are going to work on what we are going to do.

“The weather could play a role if the wind continues!

“What we do then, once we have the team sheet, is have our final meeting and see what happens next.

“I’m sure in every game you will see a distinct idea in what we do.”
