Asus has scheduled a virtual event for 12 p.m. today where it will unveil the new Asus 8z phone. The event will be broadcast live on the company’s social networks, including YouTube. Here’s how you can watch the event live via his YouTube channel
Asus 8z Expected Specs
Asus 8z will come with a 5.92-inch AMOLED display with Full-HD+ resolution. The screen of the phone will feature HDR 10+ support with 120Hz refresh rate. It will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor.
The handset will pack 16GB of RAM with an internal storage capacity of 256GB UFS 3.1. The device is backed by a 4,000 mAh battery and will come with 30 watt fast charging support. It will be equipped with stereo speakers with Dirac HD Sound.
The Asus 8z phone will come with IP68 certification for dust and water resistance. The connectivity features of the phone are Wi-Fi 6E and NFC. For camera features, Asus 8z is expected to come with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor along with a 12-megapixel ultra-wide-angle camera on the back.
On the front, the phone can have a 12-megapixel camera for selfies. The phone can run on Android 11 operating system.
